The history and beauty of the desert horizon made me decide to stop and stretch my legs for a nude walk. I_m just off US Highway 54 about 25 miles east of the Trinity test site in New Mexico where the world_s first atomic bomb was detonated in 1945. This dirt road leads directly to the Trinity site and it_s still monitored by military personnel so I couldn_t linger very long. I wonder if motorists driving along the highway behind me realize there_s some interesting history and even more scenic views on the horizon?
