Bio: I read a lot. Or most people would consider it a lot. I don’t know. Couple of books a month usually anyway. I most like the 19th century classics. What fascinates me there is that most things we find revolutionary and generally regard as phenomena of the 20th century had been said a century before. Dickens’ description of a city in his Bad Times says more about the industrial revolution and what enveloped than all the 20th century greens. Baudelaire and Rimbaud are more pregnant in their expression of unhappiness and boredom this civilization creates than Huxley and Miller. And this realization makes me immune from all the nonsense about progress and techno-optimism that we’re exposed to from all sides. That bullshit is not for me I am informed.
