Bio: If you want to attract me, invite me for good food. But be warned: if it’s a pretentious restaurant which might look posh but the food’s nothing special, you’re guaranteed to put me off. If, on the other hand, you buy something very simple like a loaf of good bread, genuine butter and a bunch of fresh herbs and know how to put it all together you are sure to arouse my interest. I’ve even noticed a connection between how men approach food and how good lovers they are. I think it has a lot to do with them able put themselves into it, to pay attention to the detail, to be able to sense the food, to be able to listen. I even believe that a true delicacy can only be prepared by someone delicate. So if you want to really impress me, prepare something rich and delicious yourself. After a satisfying dinner I will very probably feel like having a rest in your bed and savour yet something else.
