And it all begins with a 50th celebration in Brazil over one of their most FAMOUS exports.I_m willing to bet that almost all of our viewers own flip flops – but in Brazil there_s ONE brand that everybody wears.And they wear it proudly, as do most people around the world. They_re Brazilian and celebrating 50 years in business. Last year alone 210 million pairs were sold worldwide Everyone from Hollywood A-listers to star athletes are seen wearing them these days. And just like Naked News, Havaianas is often imitated but NEVER duplicated Next up, it used to be that 21 was viewed as the age of adulthood, but oh how the times have changed my friends. A study by Australian researchers has found that most young people don_t feel like they_ve reached adulthood until they_re AT LEAST 30. Rather than settling down and starting a family, people in their twenties are spending more of their time traveling and partying. Only 38 percent of those surveyed felt they_d reached maturity at age 21. So 30 is the new 21. Which is why this year I_m celebrating my THIRD 29th birthday, thank you very much. And if you think all the crap they play on the radio these days sounds the same, well, turns out you_re probably right Research published in a journal called Scientific Reports shows that today_s music is louder than the hits from the fifties and sixties and uses fewer variations in chords and melodies. Half a million rock, pop, and hip hop songs between 1955 and 2010 were run through a complex computer program for the results. Now you have scientific proof that they just don_t make music like they used to.
