He succumbed to a massive heart attack while undergoing an outpatient procedure in Santa Monica, Calofornia. Clark had been suffering from health problems for many years. He had type-2 diabetes and in 2004 suffered a debilitating stroke. Among his legendary achievements, Clark hosted American Bandstand, for decades – America_s longest-running variety show. He was also the man behind countless other popular programs, including the Pyramid game shows, the American Music Awards and Dick Clarks New years Rockin Eve. He was 82 years old, and will be dearly missed.On to the international front, India has put on a display of its growing military might with the successful launch of a long range missile. The Agni V (AG-nee 5) rocket is nuclear capable and can travel a distance of over three-thousand miles. That would place many Chinese cities within its striking range. India_s Defense Minister congratulated military officials on the launch, which they say met all objectives. India has stressed that the weapon is purely for deterrence, and that it will be exercising a no first-use policy. Rock
