More then a FEW people were displeased that the stormtrooper was BLACKFirst off let_s skip over the very distinct possibility that this guy isn_t an actual stormtrooper and is an infiltrator in a uniform. We_ll assume he is in fact a full-on stormtrooper. What exactly would be the problem with him being black? If anyone_s answer is just well it_s just wrong then they fall under the racist umbrella and their boobery is self-evident.But if their answer is there are no black stormtroopers because they_re all clones of Jango Fett and Jango Fett wasn_t *white* but he_s not BLACK well that_s just wrong Allow me to give a Kat Curtis-approved correction.Yes stormtroopers were at one time clones. But that had CHANGED between the events of the Phantom Menace and A New Hope Chancellor Palpatine opened the ranks to recruits and conscripts. Remember?It_s entirely likely that there_s a veritable rainbow under those stormtrooper uniforms. After all the humanoid characters in the Star Wars universe aren_t really differentiated by what we modern earthlings call race. A long time ago in a galaxy far far away a human was a human. So no there_s no real reason a stormtrooper couldn_t be black. Or Asian. And anyone who says otherwise is our Boob of the Week
