December 7th 4:47pm – Case 8459254 – Theft – Suspect was caught in jewelry aisle trying to steal merchandise. Initially it was overlooked, but described by associate as blatant disrespect for store policies. LP officer detained suspect to find out she was store owners stepdaughter. Suspect threatened LP officer with being fired. LP officer stood his ground and was stern with suspect. Instead of getting the police involved, LP officer saw it in his best interests to leave this between him and the owner. Maybe it could lead him to a promotion for sparing her. Evidence logged on Nov 7, 2016.
